Mr. Wang Fuqiang, Deputy Director of the CCIEE Industrial Planning Department, Met with NZ Guests

On the morning of July 20, Mr. Wang Fuqiang, Deputy Director of the CCIEE Industrial Planning Department conducted an in-depth discussion with Mr. Will Samuel, Director of the Commerce and Economic Development, Taupo District Council, New Zealand about regional development in China.

Both parties shed light on the unbalanced regional development in China; the implications and significance of “One Belt and One Road”, “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integration” and “Yangtze River Economic Zone” strategies; and the way for China to formulate effective “Five-year” plans, etc. Mr. Wang Fuqiang also introduced China’s tax system reform and FTZ investment policies.
