CCIEE Holds 11th “Monthly Economic Talk”

On the morning of May 27, 2010, CCIEE held its 11th “Monthly Economic Talk” at the China Millennium Monument, under the theme of “China-US Strategic and Economic Cooperation”. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, chaired the Talk.

Zhang Yansheng, Director of the Institute for International Economic Research at the National Development and Reform Commission, Yang Jiemian, President of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Chen Yonglong, Vice President of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, Fu Mengzi, Assistant President of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, delivered speeches respectively on the 2nd round of China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue which has concluded on May 25th. From the think tanks’ and experts’  perspective, the speakers interpreted in great detail the background of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue, the issues we should focus on in the future, the opportunities and challenges brought by this dialogue and new trends of the future China-US strategic and economic cooperation .
