CCIEE Holds 107th Monthly Economic Talk

On May 17, 2018, China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) held the 107th Monthly Economic Talk, under the theme of “Launching Event for CCIEE Featured Books”. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Dawei, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of CCIEE. Mao Zengyu, Deputy Chief of China Economic Publishing House, Chen Wenling, Chief Economist of CCIEE and Deputy Director of the CCIEE Executive Board, Ren Haiping, Deputy Director of the Strategic Research Department, Liu Xiangdong, Deputy Director of the Economic Research Department, Wang Xiaohong, Deputy Director of the Information Department, Jing Chunmei, Deputy Director of the Information Department, Zhang Yingqiang, Associate Researcher of the Industrial Planning Department, Li Feng, Associate Researcher of the Industrial Planning Department, Zhang Huanbo, Associate Researcher of the Economic Research Department, and Li Di, Associate Researcher of the Economic Research Department gave speeches respectively and introduced their books.


Zhang Dawei stated that as a national high-end think tank, CCIEE not only shoulder the historic mission of truth exploration and knowledge innovation, but also bears the responsibility of providing suggestions for deepening reforms and expanding opening up. The featured books launched at the meeting cover a wide range of areas, including national development strategies, research on international cooperation, and solutions to the current development issues. All these books reflect the theoretical foundation and knowledge accumulation of CCIEE and mark the progress made by CCIEE during its continuous research.

At total number of ten books were launched at the meeting, namely, “E-International Trade: The Theory and Basic Framework of the Next Generation of Trade”, “Evaluation of Building a Moderately Prosperous Society”, “Sustainable Development: Research on the System of China’s Ecological Civilization”, “Research on China’s Foreign Direct Investment Strategy during the 13th Five-Year Plan”, “Strengthening International Cooperation on Energy”, “Promoting the Establishment of a Global Cyberspace Governance System”, “Reshaping the BRIC Countries’ New Advantages in Cooperation and Development”, “Comparing the Mechanisms of Well-known Think Tanks”, “The Paris Agreement: A Global Milestone for Climate Change”, “Accelerating the Construction of a New Think Tank ecosystem with Chinese Characteristics”.

The researchers of CCIEE and its member companies, and staff from other research institutions, media and enterprises also participated in the event.
