CCIEE Conducts with Exchanges with China Central Depository & Clearing Co., Ltd.

On July 8, 2019, Zong Jun, Chief Business officer of the China Central Depository & Clearing Co., Ltd. (CCDC), and his colleagues visited CCIEE, discussing financial risks prevention-related issues. Jiang Chunli, Deputy Secretary of the CCIEE Central Party Committee, Director of the Information Department and Deputy Director of the General Administration Office, presided over the discussion. Liu Xiangdong, Deputy Director of the Economic Research Department and researchers from the Industry Research Department, the Postdoctoral Research also participated in the discussion.

On behalf of CCIEE, Jiang Chunli welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the research on the prevention of financial risks conducted by CCIEE this year, and the achievements made by CCIEE in the development of think tanks and international exchanges, as well as the services it has offered to its member companies.

Zongjun appreciated the support and assistance given by CCIEE to the forums and meetings hosted by CCDC since it became a member company of CCIEE. At present, CCDC is committed to the research of financial markets such as bonds and financial infrastructure and thus, he hopes to strengthen cooperation with CCIEE in this regard. At the same time, he is also willing to provide research and consultation support to CCIEE.

Both sides agree to strengthen cooperation and focus on research on risk prevention. They also stated that attention should be paid to the fundamental role played by the real economy in preventing financial risks, and further strengthen research cooperation on deepening reforms to minimize financial risks.
