Kiel Institute for World Economy Visits CCIEE

On November 12th, 2010, Chen Yongjie, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Prof. Dennis Snower, President of the Kiel Institute for World Economy. They exchanged views on cooperation between the two organizations.
Chen Yongjie welcomed Prof. Snower and gave a brief introduction about CCIEE and hoped the two sides could further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in the field of global economic research. Prof. Snower congratulated CCIEE on the success of the Global Governance and Sustainable Economic Development Conference which it jointly hosted with the Bertelsmann Stiftung. He praised the organizational work done by CCIEE and the Bertelsmann Stiftung. At the end, he introduced the Global Economic Seminar which is held annually by the Kiel Institute for World Economy.
The Kiel Institute for World Economy has great influence in many areas such as politics, academic and business. They also maintain close contact with many international think tanks.
