CCIEE Holds 18th Monthly Economic Talk

On December 27, 2010, CCIEE held its 18th Monthly Economic Talk at Beijing Media Center, under the theme of Responses to US Fed Quantitative Easing Monetary Policy and Its Impact. Chen Wenling, Chief Economist of CCIEE, chaired the meeting.

Zheng Xinli, Permanent Vice Chairman of CCIEE, Liu Kegu, former Deputy Governor of China Development Bank, Zong Liang, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Finance at Bank of China and Zhang Yongjun, Researcher of CCIEE, delivered speeches in relation to the theme of the meeting.

The experts elaborated the US Fed quantitative easing monetary policy and its purpose. Also, they gave an in-depth analysis of the policy’s impact on world economy and China’s economy, especially on the banking industry and financial market. Furthermore, they proposed the focus and countermeasures for China’s economy to cope with international changes.
