CCIEE Holds the Inauguration Ceremony of Its Post-Doctoral Program

On June 26^th 2011, the inauguration ceremony of CCIEE Post-Doctoral Program was held during the Second Global Think Tank Summit at China World Summit Wing, Beijing. Zeng Peiyan, former Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC, Chairman of CCIEE and post-doctoral mentor attended the ceremony.

Wang Chunzheng, Executive Vice Chairman of CCIEE, post-doctoral mentor and researcher, chaired the ceremony and gave a remark on behalf of CCIEE. Yang Zhiming, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS), also gave his remark at the ceremony. Wu Jianying, Deputy Director-General of the Professional Technician Department at the MOHRSS, read out the approval document for the establishment of the CCIEE Post-Doctoral Program. Wang Xianlei, Director of the program, reported the future work.   

CCIEE Post-Doctoral Program has now 34 post-doctoral mentors, 8 post-doctoral researchers. In line with CCIEE’s philosophy of originality, Objectivity, rationality and Compatibility, and the three major tasks of research, exchanges and constancy, the post-doctoral program focuses its researches on domestic and international economic issues and aims to nurture post-doctorate with international perspective in areas such as international strategy, world economy, international finance and investment, global economic governance, regional economy, energy-saving and emission-reduction, coping with climate change, international trade, transitional companies, macroeconomy, economic model and prediction, industrial policy.  

Also presented were Li Yining, CCIEE Executive Vice Chairman and post-doctoral mentor, Prof. Laurence Law, Zheng Xinli, Permanent Vice Chairman of CCIEE and post-doctoral mentor, Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE and post-doctoral mentor, Ning Jizhe, Vice Minister of the State Council Research Office, Zhang Xiang, CCIEE Executive Director and post-doctoral mentor, Prof. Fan Gang, CCIEE Chief Researcher and post-doctoral mentor.

Sun lin, Director General and Zhang Yudan, Deputy Director General of the HR Department of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), were also at the inauguration ceremony.
