CCIEE Holds 32nd Monthly Economic Talk
On February 27th, 2012, China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), held the 32nd Monthly Economic Talk at the China Millennium Monument, under the theme of European Debt Crisis: Outlook and Solutions. Mr. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, chaired that talk.
Ms. Annika Melander, Head of the Economic and Financial Section at the Delegation of EU to China, introduced the policies launched by the EU to deal with the debt crisis, and talked about the outlook of EU development. Mr. Dirk Moens, Secretary General of the EU Chamber of Commerce in China, noted that the EU is now facing a debt crisis not European crisis. He argued that the debt crisis is mainly caused by inappropriate resources allocation and made proposals for solving the crisis and promoting further reform and opening-up of the EU.
