CCIEE Secretary General Meets with Managing Director of Kissinger Associates

On October 20, 2009, CCIEE Secretary General Wei Jianguo met with the managing director of Kissinger Associates, Inc., Mr. Joshua Cooper Ramo.
In response to Mr. Ramo's enquiries, Mr. Wei described CCIEE's research focus, organizational structure, and staff composition, as well as the various advantages CCIEE enjoys as a cross-regional, cross-sector, and cross-industry research center. Mr. Ramo emphasized that, according to his understanding, CCIEE is a unique think tank with close connection with the government and enterprises. He also said that FDI is important for Sino-US economic and political relationship. Finally, Mr. Ramo expressed hopes to establish cooperation with CCIEE.
