Research Director of Canon Institute for Global Strategy Studies Visits CCIEE

On October 27, 2009, Wei Jianguo, CCIEE Secretary General, met with Mr. Kiyoyuki Seguchi, research director of Canon Institute for Global Strategy Studies. Wei praised Canon Institute for promoting technology-sharing between Chinese and Japanese high-tech companies.
Founded on December 1, 2008 and headquartered in Tokyo, Canon Institute is a new research center that specializes in international financial economy, global environment protection, foreign affairs/security, Chinese economy, Sino-US-Japan relations and so on. Mr. Seguchi hopes that China, the United States and Japan can establish open and close cooperation with each other. He envisions Canon Institute to be a platform for Chinese and Japanese firms to communicate and cooperate in green and new energy technologies.
