CCIEE Permanent Vice Chairman Meets with Iranian Counselor

On November 11, 2009, Zheng Xinli, Permanent Vice Chairman of CCIEE, met with Mr. Jannati, Second Counselor of Iranian Embassy.
Jannati said it was a great honor to meet with Zheng, and hopes to strengthen cooperation between Chinese and Iranian think thanks and to promote exchange and communication between experts and scholars.
Zheng welcomed Jannati's visit. China and Iran have extensive economic ties, he said, but cooperation between Chinese and Iranian think tanks lags far behind. Zheng said that CCIEE is willing to play an active role in promoting such cooperation, sharing with Iran China's experiences in macro-control and regional development in the past 30 years.
