Members Offer Advice on CCIEE Development

On the evening of December 4, 2009, Wei Jianguo and Chen Yanbing, Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE, convened the 10th Membership Meeting. The meeting was aimed at soliciting members' suggestions regarding the development of CCIEE so as to better understand and serve their needs.
Wei began the meeting with a welcome speech, in which he introduced the organizational structure and functions of CCIEE and its latest progress, and reviewed the series of events organized by CCIEE since its establishment, including the Global Think Tank Summit and the Monthly Economic Talk.
After the welcome speech, representatives from CCIEE's members participated actively in the discussion, sharing their experience in "going abroad." They suggested that CCIEE play a greater role in helping enterprises to go abroad, by offering training courses to Chinese enterprises on how to manage acquired foreign assets and by hunting and training internationally-oriented technological and management personnel.
