Research Report 2016 16th Issue. Several Important Measures for Expanding Natural Gas Consumption Proportion - 2016-04-11
[Abstract] The target has become rather unattainable that the consumption proportion of natural gas is raised to over 10% by 2020, as the natural gas consumption growth has been decelerating in recent years in China. However, accelerating replacement coal with natural gas is an important measure to control haze and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The current economic situation provides a favorable condition for expanding the consumption of natural gas. China should seize the opportunity of low price of natural gas on international market and actively increase its import, adopt the advanced LNG connection mode to enhance the supply capacity of natural gas, promote the market-oriented reform of natural gas industry and straighten out the price relations between natural gas and other alternative energies, support the social capital to participate in the building of natural gas storage and transportation facilities, and focus on establishing influential natural gas trading market.
Research Report 2016 15th Issue: Developing Color Wheat Industry to Promote the Adjustment of Grain Structure - 2016-04-06
【Abstract】Color wheat has been cultivated by Chinese experts since 1980s, and its current research is in the forefront of the world. Color wheat has a rich variety of microelements and citrus-bioflavonoids anthocyanosides with characteristics of high quality, high yield, high resistance, wide adaptability, long industrial chain and prominent product features. It is also expected to have the functions of absorbing the pesticide residues and improving the soil pollution. The industrialization of color wheat will enrich supply-side structural reform, promote the adjustment of grain structures, build up the strength of China's seed industry, and advance the upgrading of high-end food and functional food processing industry. It helps solve the human problem of hidden hunger caused by the lack of microelements in traditional food structure. Therefore, it is suggested that the breeding and its conservation policy should be intensified, and national pilot parks should be planned for color wheat industrialization to accelerate the development of the whole industry chain of color wheat.

Research Report 2016 12th Issue: Guard against Soaring Property Prices Caused by “Increased Leverage” in Some Cities - 2016-03-21
[Abstract] The 2015 Central Economic Work Conference set the task of reducing the commercial housing inventories in an orderly manner. Judging by the current situation, the problems of oversupply, high inventories and weak corporate investment ability and willingness remain fundamentally unchanged in the property market. Meanwhile, a new problem of rapidly “increasing leverage” has recently come up in the property market of some cities, as result of the preferential credit policy and the illegal or unauthorized funding provided by some intermediary agencies to home buyers. This leads to precipitous rise of housing prices in some first- and second-tier cities, posing serious potential risks. Therefore, the government should base its property market regulation policy on local conditions and maintain its stable and healthy development.
