Integration of Urban and Rural Areas

The theme, frame design and the invited papers of the book are around the proposition of "Integration of Urban and Rural Areas---Further Liberation of China Productivity" which is proposed by Mr. Zheng Xinli, the consultant of this book, who is also the Executive deputy director of China Center for International Economic Exchanges.

The book is divided into general report and separate report. The general report rationalizes the theoretical research and experience on integration of urban and rural areas in domestic and overseas; analyzes the current situation and problems of integration of urban and rural areas in China ; reviews the course of integration of urban and rural areas in China, summarizes some typical practice in east, west and middle China, propounds the general concept and policy proposal on integration of urban and rural areas in the near future. The separate report highlights theoretical analysis and practice summarization. Theoretical analysis is around model, finance, fiscal levy, land management, government administration systems of urbanization in the process of integration of urban and rural areas.

The book is co-edited by some researchers from China Center for International Economic Exchanges, government officials from Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Changsha Hunan, and professional scholars, they analyze through theoretical research, policy analysis, and local practice summarization. Thanks for their much efforts to the successfully publication of the report.
