ZHANG Huanbo

Huanbo Zhang,is an Research Associate of CCIEE. He received his PhD at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007, and finished postdoctoral training at Tsinghua University in 2009. His research interests cover  exchange rate, trade and investment, climate change and low-carbon development.

Many research papers written by Huanbo Zhang have received important instructions from the State leaders, covering "exchange rate", "change the economic development mode", "nuclear power development" areas; His monograph "China, the U.S. and the EU climate policy analysis " was selected as one of the reference books at National People's Congress and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 2011; He published nearly 30 academic papers at SSCI, SCI, CSSCI Journal. He also is an anonymous reviewers of Elsevier journals in economy field.

He was in charge of many projects supported by the National Natural Science Fund, the National Postdoctoral Fund, China Development Research Fund, the State Council Research Office, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Personnel, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Beijing Science and Technology Commission, China International Economic and Exchange Center. He worked as one of the main researchers involved in the drafting of the first low-carbon development planning in China: advice on building low-carbon city in Baoding "and "low-carbon Baoding City Development Plan (2008-2020)". He signed, "Chinese scholars Copenhagen Proposal as one of 24 scholars at Beijing in 2009.
