Delegation of Senior Management of CH2M Hill Visits CCIEE

On the afternoon of August 5, 2010, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Thomas Searle, President of the International Business, and the delegation of the senior management of CH2M Hill. Also at the meeting were Mr. Charles Holliday, member of the Board of Directors at CH2M Hill and Chairman of Bank of America, Mr. John Quarendon, Managing Director for Asian Region, Ms. Theresa Roar, Senior Vice President of International Project at CH2M Hill, Mr. Zhang Wenfu, Executive Director of Asian Advanced technologies, Mr. Han Yihu, Deputy Director General of the Consulting Department, Dr. Niu Tiehang of the Information Department, Mr. Zhang Sijia of the Cooperation Department at CCIEE.  

Mr. Searle introduced CH2M Hill. As a global engineering design and management company, CH2M Hill has rich experience in water resource, transportation, environment, electricity, petrochemical and other fields. It values Chinese market considerably. The purpose of this trip to China is to gain a deep understanding about Chinese market and adjust their operational strategies in China. Mr. Searle hoped that CH2M could cooperate with CCIEE, using its experience in internationalization to help Chinese companies go abroad. 

Mr. Wei talked about the background and main activities of CCIEE, as well as the International Cooperative Conference on Green Economy and Climate Changes held by CCIEE last May.
