President of Rose Rock Partners LLP. Visits CCIEE

On March 15^th 2011, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Mr. Steven · Rockefeller Jr., President of the Rose Rock Partners LLP. Also at the meeting were Mr. Douglas Spooner and Mr. Patrick O'Rourke, Partners at Rose Rock Partners LLP., Ms. Kim Meredith, Executive Director of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, Mr. Selig Sacks, Senior Partner at Pryor Cashman’s Corporate Group and Co-chair of the firm’s China Practice, Mr. Zhang Xiaochong, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE.

Mr. Wei spoke highly of the valuable suggestions and contributions the Rockefeller Family has made to China’s economic development, introduced the current major activities of CCIEE, proposed the two sides to strengthen cooperation and jointly advance the development of China’s philanthropic work. Mr. Rockefeller agreed with Mr. Wei.

Mr. Rockefeller thanked Mr. Wei for arranging the meeting, introduced the philanthropic activities they have been involved in China and the supports given by the NDRC and other governmental departments. Ms. Meredith gave a brief introduction of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society.
