CCIEE Signs MoU with Aloca

On May 12, 2011, CCIEE and The Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Beijing Hotel.

            

 Under the MoU, the two parties will strengthen cooperation in fields such as low-carbon economy and new energy, devote themselves to technology-sharing in energy-conservation and emission-reduction of energy-intensive industries, emission control, improving circular utilization and using new energy. Furthermore, they will also undertake cooperation and exchanges in the fields of investment and consultancy.

Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, and Klaus Kleinfeld, President and CEO of Alcoa, singed the MoU. Also at the signing ceremony were Daniel Cruise, VP for public and government affairs, Kay Meggers, VP for corporate initiatives, Chen Jinya, Director of Asia Pacific and China of Alcoa, Zhang Xiaochong, Deputy Secretary General, and Xu Chaoyou, Deputy Director-General of the Department of External Affairs at CCIEE.
