Prof. Jonathan Aloisi Gives A Presentation at CCIEE

On July 12, 2011, Jonathan Aloisi, distinguished Professor of the University of Washington and former Minister-Counsellor of the U.S. embassy to China, gave a presentation of Sino-US political and economic relations at CCIEE. Prof. Aloisi worked as a diplomat in Asia for many years and thus, he has rich experience and unique insights in Chinese and Asian affairs.      

Prof. Aloisi elaborated systematically the development of Obama Administration’s strategic goal and policy on China, and analyzed the Sino-US economic and trade relations. He pointed out that Sino-US relations develop well and US business is an important force to drive healthy development of the Sino-US trade and economic relations. Meanwhile, he also expressed his opinions on the problems of the Sino-US trade and economic relations.

CCIEE researchers and Prof. Aloisi had an in-depth discussion based on the presentation. Chen Yongjie, CCIEE deputy Secretary General, chaired the meeting.
