Hong Kong Commercial and Industrial Figures Visits CCIEE

On September 29th, a group of nine young figures from Hong Kong Commerce and Industry visited CCIEE and exchanged their views on such issues as China’s economic development and the central government’s Hong Kong policy with CCIEE researchers.

Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, extended his warm welcome to the group. He introduced the mission and history of CCIEE and encouraged them enhance their understanding on the mainland, in order to promote cooperation and exchanges in the fields of economy, trade and finance between the mainland and Hong Kong.

Zhang Xiaochong, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE, chaired the meeting. Chen Wenling, Chief Economist of CCIEE and Cao Wenlian, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE, shared their views on issues like central government’s strategies for supporting Hong Kong’s development, China’s financial policy and development, RMB internationalization and China’s macroeconomy.

The group consists of some famous young entrepreneurs, including Zeng Qingchun, Guo Jihui, Rong Mingdi, Guo Mengxiong, Guo Mengwei amd Huo Qishan. Also at the meeting were Zhang Yongjun, deputy director of the CCIEE research department, and Wang Jun, deputy director of CCIEE consulting and research department.
