Chen Wenlin Meets with Edward Leung

On December 5^th, 2011, Ms. Chen Wenlin CCIEE Chief Economist met with Mr. Edward Leung, Chief Economist of Hongkong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Ms.Chen expressed, as requested, her opinions on such issues as 2012 China’s export situation, possibility of a new round of economic stimulus plan by the Chinese government, possibility of a loosened monetary policy to solve the SMEs’ financing difficulties, policies of boosting domestic consumption by the central government, and the countermeasures by Hongkong for the challenges, etc. Furthermore, She expressed her opinions on cooperation between CCIEE and HKTDC.

Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation on important strategic issues related to Hongkong.
