Wei Jainguo Meets With the Joint Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange and Co-operation Foundation

On March 27, 2012, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), met with Mr. Jack Rosen, Joint Chairman of Asia Pacific Exchange and Co-operation Foundation (APECF), and well-known American social activist. Also at the meeting were Mr. Xiao Wunan, Executive Vice Chairman of the APECF, Mr. Xu Chaoyou, Deputy Director-General of CCIEE, and Ms. Tang Lin, Marketing Director of China Economic Consulting Co., Ltd.

The two sides exchanged views on promoting China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation, and helping Chinese enterprises to go global. Mr. Wei introduced CCIEE and the challenges facing Chinese enterprises when expanding their business abroad. Mr. Rosen is willing to establish cooperation with CCIEE and help Chinese enterprises to invest in the U.S.

The two sides also exchanged views on how to conduct cooperation between CCIEE and APECF. They agreed to strengthen cooperation and facilitate mutual investment between China and the U.S.
