Vice Chairman and Secretary General Wei Jianguo Met with IBM Guests

On November 13, Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Center for International Economic Exchanges, met with D.C. Chien, Chairman and CEO, and Zhuang Nanbin, Vice President, of IBM Greater China Group, and Cannon-Brookes, Vice President of IBM’s Global Strategy for Growth Markets. Also present were Mr. Xu Chaoyou, Director General of the Department of External Affairs and Dr. Zhang Yongjun, Deputy Director General of the Department of Economic Research at CCIEE.

Chairman Chien briefed on IBM’s potential research project of Global Integrity Enterprises (GIE), and indicated that the project focuses on exploring the best practices of globalized enterprises, their influences and the integrity model for future development. He said that IBM looks forward to cooperating with CCIEE on the newly fledged project.

Vice Chairman Wei Jianguo said CCIEE attaches great importance to its cooperation with IBM and the two sides could keep in touch on GIE research project.
