President of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Visits CCIEE

On December 1, 2009, Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Ms. Jessica T. Mathews, president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Wei Jianguo gave a detailed introduction of CCIEE and highly praised the Carnegie Endowment for the positive contributions it has made to international affairs. Ms. Mathews said China's development is of great importance to the Carnegie Endowment.
Ms. Mathews and Wei agreed to strengthen cooperation, with a view towards contributing to Sino-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue in particular and bilateral relations in general.
