He said that the Clean Energy Investment Seminar, co-organized by the two organizations’on March 17, has produced a number of valuable suggestions and views and more works will be conducted accordingly. Apart from that, CCIEE and the Paulson Institute agreed to add one Chinese and one U.S. companies to the CEO Council for Sustainable Development. Choosing Hebei as an important region to promote cooperation in tackling environmental problems has proved to be a correct choice. The working groups of the two organizations have already made specific arrangements and hopefully, the two sides can be honest with each other and find solutions when different opinions occur during future cooperation. The Sustainable Development Planning Project Prize, which has been awarded twice in China so far, has made great impact on some Chinese cities. In the aspects of the new members of CEO council, he hopes that they can play a positive role in the cooperation between CCIEE and the Paulson Institute.
