CCIEE Holds 34th Monthly Economic Talk

On April 18, 2012, China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCCIEE) held the 34th Monthly Economic Talk at Beijing Media Center, under the theme of 2012 First Quarter Economic Trend Analysis, Ms. Chen Wenling, chief economist of CCIEE presided over the talk.

Mr. Wang Jun, Deputy Director-General of Consulting and Research Department of CCIEE, Mr. Liu Yuanchun, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics at Renmin University of China, and Mr. Zhu Baoliang, chief economist of the Economic forecast department at China’s State Information Center, delivered speeches based on the theme of the talk. They analyzed the economic trend and features of the first quarter, and the main risks and challenges facing China in the future, and made recommendations on the direction of macro control.

In the Q & A section after presentations, the speakers answered various questions from the audience and press. Also attended the talk were staff from the research department, research & consulting department and information department of CCIEE, member companies of CCIEE, other research institutions and media.
