CCIEE Holds 35th Monthly Economic Talk

On May 17^th, 2012, China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) held the 35^th Monthly Economic Talk, under the theme of Reform and Development of the Securities Market. Mr. Cao Wenlian, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE, presided over the talk.

Mr. Liu Kegu, former Deputy Governor of China’s Development Bank, Mr. Wu Xiaoqiu, Director of the Research Institute of Securities of China’s Renmin University, and Mr. Xu Hongcai, Deputy Director General of the Information Department of CCIEE, gave presentations respectively. They went through the development of China’s securities market, analyzed its defects, gave a forecast on its future direction and made proposals regarding its development.   

In the Q & A section after presentations, the speakers answered various questions from the audience and press. Also attended the talk were staff from the Research Department, Research & Consulting Department and Information Department of CCIEE, member companies of CCIEE, other research institutions and media.
