CCIEE Hosts Urban Sustainability Seminar in Changsha

On December the 6th 2012, Cities of the Future: Urban Sustainability in Modern China Changsha Seminar was held at Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, under the auspices of China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), the Paulson Institute and Changsha Municipal People’s Government. 

Mr. Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CCIEE, Mr. Henry Paulson, former Treasury Secretary of the U.S. and Chairman of the Paulson Institute, and Mr. Zhang Jianfei, Mayor of Changsha made opening remarks at the seminar. More than 60 government officials, business leaders and scholars had in-depth discussions revolving around solutions to the growth challenge, to the infrastructure challenge and behavioral change. 

During the seminar, Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Mr. Zhou Qiang met with Mr. Paulson and other U.S. delegates.
