CCIEE Hold 2013 Spring Festival Reception

On January 16th 2013, CCIEE hosted its 2013 Spring Festival Reception at St. Regis in Beijing. More than 180 guests from over 20 embassies, the United Nations agencies, foreign think tanks, chambers of commerce and corporations in China joined the occasion.

In his welcome remarks, Mr. Zheng Xinli, CCIEE Permanent Vice Chairman expressed, on behalf of Chairman Zeng Peiyan and the Center, his deep appreciation to the guests for their strong support over the past year and briefed them on China’s economic picture in 2012 and its prospect in the new year. Mr. Zheng said a booming China has brought great opportunities not only for its own people but also for foreign countries and corporations alike. He hopes that all the embassies and international organizations in China can seize the opportunities and deepen the cooperation with China.

The Reception is supported by China Economic Consulting Cooperation (CECC), a high-end consulting firm and also the subsidiary of CCIEE, and Foshan Municipal Government of Guangdong Province. Mr. Wei Liqun, Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman and Secretary General, Ms. Chen Wenling, Chief Economist, Mr. Zhang Xiaochong, Vice Secretary General and heads of all departments at CCIEE attended the gathering as well.
