Vice Premier Wang Yang and NZ Prime Minister John Key Attends the New Zealand-China Partnership Forum

On 12 April, 2013, the New Zealand-China Partnership Forum was held in Beijing. Mr. Wang Yang, Vice Premier of the State Council of China, and Rt Jon John Key, Prime Minister of New Zealand, addressed the opening ceremony.

              
 

Premier Wang said that both New Zealand and China are important nations in the Asian Pacific region. They have different resource endowments, strong economic complementarity and enormous potential for cooperation. Therefore, the two countries should make good use of the New Zealand-China Free Trade Agreement, deepen economic and trade cooperation in various fields and bring the comprehensive cooperative New Zealand-China relations to a new level.

                         

Rt Jon John Key pointed out that New Zealand attaches great importance to its economic and trade relations with China and hopes to expand cooperation with China in more fields.

Mr. Zeng Peiyan, Chairman of CCIEE and leaders from different departments of both countries, attended the opening ceremony. Premier Wang Yang met with Rt Jon John Key before the forum.
