CCIEE Holds 48th Monthly Economic Talk

On June 14^th, 2013, CCIEE held the 48th Monthly Economic Talk at Beijing Media Center under the theme of “Building an Upgraded Chinese Economy”, Mr. Zhang Dawei, Secretary General of CCIEE presided over the talk.

Mr. Zheng Xinli, Executive Vice President of CCIEE, Mr. Lv Zheng, Former Director of Institute of Industrial Economics at the National Academy of Social Sciences, Mr. Zhang Liqun, Deputy Secretary General of Academic Committee of the State Council Development Research Center delivered Speeches respectively. Mr. Zheng provided an in-depth definition and policy implementation plan for “Upgraded Chinese Economy”. Mr. Lv analyzed the issue through the angle of industrial structure adjustment and provided an analysis on the possible problems and solutions. Finally, Mr. Zhang analyzed the issue through his expertise on market system competitiveness, transformation of government functions, urbanization and provided the policy prescriptions for economic reform.
