Wei Jianguo Attends the Press Conference on the 4th China (Tianjin, Binhai) International Eco-City Forum & Expo

On July 31, 2013, the press conference on the 4th China (Tianjin, Binhai) International Eco-City Forum & Expo was held in Beijing. Mr. Wei Jianguo, CCIEE Vice-Chairman, Mr. Zhang Xiaochong, CCIEE Deputy Secretary General and officials from Tianjin Binhai New District, the NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission) and MOHURD (Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development) attended the press conference.

Mr. Wei Jianguo made a remark on behalf of the hosting organizations, saying that the Binhai New District of Tianjin is not only the window of China’s reform and opening-up, but also the pilot district for constructing eco-friendly city and pioneer of international cooperation and eco-economy development. With the theme of Eco-City and Beautiful Homes, the forum will encourage discussions on cities’ development paths and measures in the context of eco-civilization, and help us to build beautiful homes.

The 4th China (Tianjin, Binhai) International Eco-City Forum & Expo is co-hosted by the NDRC, MOHURD, Tianjin Municipal People’s Government and CCIEE. Undertaken by the People’s Government of Tianjin Binhai New District, the forum is to be held on September 15 – 19, at Tianjin Binhai International Conference Center and Binhai International Exhibition Center.
