Sustainable Cities in Modern China Seminar Held in Beijing

On November 7, 2013, China Center for International Economic Exchanges and the Paulson Institute co-hosted the Urban Sustainability in Modern China Seminar in Beijing. Wang Chunzheng, Executive Vice-Chairman, Wei Jianguo, Vice-Chairman of CCIEE, and Mr. Henry Paulson, Chairman of the Paulson Institute attended the conference.

     

Based on such topics as infrastructure construction, government-commerce relations, investment and financing and livable cities, the seminar participants had an in-depth discussion. Ling Yueming,Member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, Party Secretary of Liangjiang New District and Director of the Administrative Committee, Zhang Jianfei, Mayor of Changsha City, Chang Yanbo, Vice-Mayor of Baoding City, Richard Daley, former Mayor of Chicago, Hal Harvey, CEO of Energy Innovation, James Hexter, Senior Partner at McKinsy & Company, and other Chinese and international scholars and experts as well as decision-makers attended the seminar.
