Zheng Xinli Attends “70 Years After Bretton Woods: The International Monetary System” Symposium
On May 17-18, 2014, the symposium of 70 Years After Bretton Woods: The International Monetary System, co-hosted by Chinese Society for Financing and Banking, Re-inventing Bretton Woods Committee, and the PBC School of Finance: Tsinghua University, was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
Zheng Xinli, Permanent Vice-Chairman of CCIEE, attended the symposium and delivered a speech on China’s Financial Reform and Its Impact on IMF. More than 80 officials and scholars attended the symposium and conducted in-depth discussions, including Pan Gongsheng, Deputy Governor of People’s Bank of China, Zhu Guangyao, Vice-Minister of Finance, Zhu Congzheng, Deputy Governor of Zhejiang province, Wu Xiaoling, Vice Chair of the Financial and Economic Committee of the National People’s Congress, Xu Hongcai, Director General of the Information Department of CCIEE, . Michel Camdessus, former President of IMF, Marc Uzan, Execuive Director of Re-inventing Bretton Woods Committee, and Klaus Regling, President of European Stability Mechanism.
