CCIEE Will Hold the Sixth Annual U.S.-China CEO and Former Senior Officials’ Dialogue in Beijing
The Sixth Annual U.S.-China CEO and Former Senior Officials’ Dialogue will be held on 22nd and 23rd, July 2014 in Beijing. CCIEE (China Center for International Economic Exchanges) Chairman Zeng Peiyan, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC) President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue, CEOs, former senior officials and scholars from China and the US are expected to engage in detailed discussions regarding the status and future of U.S.-China economic and trade relationships.
At the end of the meeting, CCIEE and the USCC will issue a joint statement, concluding the achievements and consensus of the sixth dialogue. Furthermore, a report on promoting U.S.-China bilateral investment in infrastructure will be released.
The Annual U.S.-China CEO and Former Senior Officials’ Dialogue is co-hosted by CCIEE and the USCC, aimed at establishing a platform for business communities of the two nations to conduct exchanges and constructive discussions. Apart from that, the dialogue is expected to offer recommendations on improving U.S.-China economic and trade relationships and propel a healthy and stable development in this regard. So far, five rounds of dialogues have been held during the past three years in Beijing and Washington.
