Strengthening International Cooperation and Rebalancing Global Economy

[Abstract] On the afternoon of November 10^th, 2010, Chinese and foreign experts had discussions regarding three topics, namely: Green Economy and Sustainable Development, Promoting International Financial System Reform and Rebalancing Global Economy. The experts formulated the following propositions: China and the US have common interest in the field of climate change and should promote non-governmental bilateral dialogues and strengthen technological cooperation. A basketful system of global reserve currencies should be created and economic structure in each country be adjusted as to rebalance global economy.
