Dealing with Global Economic Imbalance and Reshaping Global Governance Structure
[Abstract] In the session of Dealing with Global Economic Imbalance which was held on the morning of 11th November, Chinese and foreign experts had discussions regarding the topics of Defining Criteria for Sustainable Equilibrium in Global Economy, and Building a Shared and Balanced Structure for Global Economy. They believed that all countries need to build unified standards through coordination in order to rebalance global economy. Besides, they reckoned that adjusting exchange rates alone will not resolve the imbalanced global economic structure and thus, international community should strive for a diversified and interacting in the international reserve currency system as well as creating a new governance structure for global economy.
