CCIEE Holds Appreciation Reception for Media

On January 26, 2011, CCIEE held appreciation reception for some media organizations in Beijing Hotel. The reception was chaired by Chen Yongjie, Deputy Secretary General of CCIEE. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, addressed the reception. Representatives from more the 20 media organizations attended the reception, including Xinhua News Agency, China National Radio, Economic Daily, Guangmin Daily, China Daily, China Radio International and Phoenix New Media.

In Wei’s speech, he thanked the media for their continuous supports to CCIEE, especially in promoting events organized by CCIEE, which has played an important role in increasing CCIEE’s influence. He hoped to strengthen further cooperation with the media organizations and make a better use of CCIEE’s role in economic research, international exchanges and consulting. Finally, on behalf of CCIEE, he sent his best new year wishes to everyone.

Representatives of different media organizations also gave short remarks at the reception. They congratulated CCIEE on its achievements since its establishment and more importantly, they made recommendations on how CCIEE could strengthen further cooperation with media organizations in the future.

Staff of information and research departments, and the department of external affairs of CCIEE also attended the reception.
