CCIEE Holds the 25th Monthly Economic Talk

On 25^th July 2011, CCIEE held its 25th Monthly Economic Talk at Beijing Media Center, under the theme of “2011 First Half Economic Analysis & Second Half Economic Outlook”. Wang Chunzheng, Executive Vice-Chairman of CCIEE, chaired the talk.

Prof. He Keng, Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee of the National People’s Congress, Prof. Richard Cooper of Harvard University and former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Qiu Yuanlun, Researcher and former Director of the CASS (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences) Institute of European Studies, Zhang Yongjun, Deputy Director General of the Research Department, CCIEE, and Wang Jun, Deputy Director General of the Research & Consultancy Department, CCIEE, delivered their speeches respectively. The speakers gave their analyses and views on such issues as the real estate market, inflation, future of the Euro, economic growth and world economy.

After the speeches, the speakers answered questions from the audiences. Also at the talk were staff of the research, research & consultancy and information departments of CCIEE, representatives of the CCIEE member companies, enterprises, research institutions and media.
