CCIEE Holds 21st Monthly Economic Talk

On March 23^rd 2011, CCIEE held the 21st Monthly Economic Talk at Beijing Media Center, with the theme of BRICs-The Leading Countries of Global Economic Recovery. YANG Xiyu, Vice President of Boao Forum for Asia Research Institute, chaired the talk.

ZHENG Xinli, Permanent Vice Chairman of CCIEE, Mr. Napoleon Navarro, Deputy Country Director, UNDP China, Mrs. Tatiana Rosito, First Secretary, Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Mr. Sizov Sergey, Deputy Trade Representative, Embassy of the Russian Federation, Mrs. Sumita Dawra, Economic Counselor Embassy of India in Beijing and ZHANG Yongjun, Researcher of CCIEE, delivered speeches and discussed the position and role of the BRICs in world economy, their future economic growth model as well as the problems they face in development.

The speakers answered several questions from the audiences after their speeches. A number of guests attended the talk, including staff from the research and information departments of CCIEE, member companies, enterprises, research institutions and presses.
