CCIEE Holds 2nd "Monthly Economic Talk"

On August 19, 2009, CCIEE successfully held its second "Monthly Economic Talk" at Beijing Hotel. CCIEE Secretary General Wei Jianguo presided over the meeting, and the former Vice-Minister of Commerce Zhang Zhigang and former Assistant Minister of Commerce Huang Hai also attended the meeting.

Also at the meeting were Chai Haitao, director of the Policy Research Department, the Ministry of Commerce, Zhang Yansheng, head of the Institute of Macroeconomic Research, the National Development and Reform Commission, and Zhang Xiaoji, a research fellow from the Foreign Economic Research Department, State Council Development and Research Center. Each of them gave an in-depth analysis of the grave challenges facing China's imports and exports and offered policy recommendations from different perspectives.
