CCIEE Holds 3rd Monthly Economic Talk

On September 22, 2009, CCIEE held its third Monthly Economic Talk in the Grand View Garden Hotel. The meeting was chaired by chief economist Mr. Zhang Zhigang. Approximately 120 people attended the meeting, including CCIEE members, research experts from various Chinese research institutions, senior managers from a number of enterprises, leading medium and staff from research and information departments of CCIEE.

The chief researcher of CCIEE, renowned economist Mr. Fan Gang delivered a speech on Global Economic Recovery and Outlook, which gave an in-depth analysis of the world economic recovery in the post-crisis era, the possible difficulties that may deter the recovery, and economic recovery in China. He also concluded five major trends in the development of future world economy.

At the end of the meeting, audience were very active in the Q & A section, Mr. Zhang Zhigang and Mr. Fan Gang exchanged opinions with them regarding issues like low-carbon economy, exports and so forth.
