CCIEE Holds the 2017 Spring Festival Reception

On 19 January 2017, CCIEE held the 2017 Spring Festival reception at Beijing St. Regis Hotel, celebrating one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Zhang Xiaoqiang, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Wei Jianguo, Vice Chairman of CCIEE and many other guests attended the reception.

On behalf of CCIEE Chairman Zeng Peiyan, Zhang Xiaoqiang sent his warm greeting to diplomatic envoys to China, representatives of international organizations and foreign think tanks and chamber of commerce. Furthermore, he gave a brief review of the works CCIEE completed in 2016, such as research projects, exchanges and consulting services. He thanked foreign embassies and organizations for their support and cooperation with CCIEE and looks forward to enhancing continuous cooperation in the new year.

Approximately 150 representatives from more than 50 foreign embassies and international organizations attended the reception, exchanging their views and discussing possible cooperation in the future, such as the EU, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Brazil, Peru, New Zealand, Kenya, UNDP and Asian Development Bank.
