On August 7, CCIEE Vice Chairman Wei Jianguo met with a delegation from Bloomberg News led by senior executive editor Wes Kosova, and answered questions on the US-China trade frictions.
Wei Jianguo expressed his gratitude to Bloomberg New for establishing cooperation with CCIEE. Furthermore, he answered the questions on the US-China trade frictions raised by the delegations, saying that although the US-China trade war will continue in the future, the trend of cooperation between China and the United States will not change. The trade war has adversely affected both sides but China has the confidence to deal with it. In the future, China will pay more attention to promote reforms on the legal system, and establish a business environment which promotes equal opportunities, rights, rule and intellectual property protection. China and the United States should strengthen communication and cooperation through mutual cooperation, joint construction, and sharing the benefits.
