CCIEE Secretary General Meets with the President of the US-China Business Council

On the afternoon of September 3, 2010, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Mr. John Frisbie, President, Mr. Robert Poole, Vice President of the US-China Business Council.

The US-China Business Council has made significant contribution in promoting US-China relation and trade cooperation and it has rich experience in cooperating with Chinese government and enterprises.

Mr. Wei said that US-China trade relation is a very important part in US-China relation and world relation. CCIEE is willing to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the US-China Business Council to facilitate stable development t of the US-China trade.

Mr. Frisbie said that China’s FDI in the US is conducive for US development and its employment. Although some Chinese firms did not manage to achieve success in the US, there are still a number of firms doing successful business there.

Both sides expressed their willingness to keep in touch and enhance cooperation and exchanges with each other.
