CCIEE Signs MoU with Hitachi Research Institute

On September 14, 2010, Mr. Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Mr. Minoru Tsukada, President of Hitachi Research Institute. On behalf of respective organizations, they signed the MoU and exchanged views on strengthening future exchanges and cooperation.

Mr. Wei said that Hitachi is a widely known household name in China and the Hitachi Research Institute has contributed considerably to the global economic analysis and China-Japan economic affairs. Therefore, he is very pleased to sign the MoU. The two organizations have great potential for cooperation and can conduct joint research on various fields in the future.

Mr. Minoru Tsukada introduced the establishment of Hitachi Research Institute and its researches. He valued CCIEE as one of the best think tanks in China and looked forward to cooperating with CCIEE. He said the signing of the MoU had laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two organizations. And Hitachi Research Institute would start cooperating and sharing information with CCIEE quickly according to the MoU.

Also at the singing ceremony were Mr. Xu Chaoyou, Deputy Director General of the Department of External Affairs, Ms. Liang Yunfeng, Researcher from the Research Department of CCIEE, Mr. Matsumoto Hiroto，Senior Manager of the Management Office of Hitachi Research Institute Research, and Mr. Kawano Kaoru, President of Hitachi (China).
