Research Director of Canon Institute for Global Strategy Studies Visits CCIEE

On October 28^th, 2010, Wei Jianguo, Secretary General of CCIEE, met with Mr. Kiyoyuki Seguchi, Research Director of Canon Institute for Global Strategy Studies. Also at the meeting was Mr. Zhang Yongjun, Researcher and Director of the Division of International Economics at CCIEE.

          

Mr. Kiyoyuki Seguchi introduced the preparation of the Sino-US-Japan Economic Experts Dialogue which will be held in Tokyo by Canon Institute for Global Strategy. He also said a Japanese economic expert’s view was published by Japan Economic News on 27^th October, saying that the government is in charge of national security, but economic exchanges are non-governmental activities, which offers the two countries opportunity to exchange their cultures and practices. However, there have often been biased and partial reports in Japanese Media about Sino-Japanese relationship. Despite of that, all the Japanese enterprises want to promote closer cooperation between China and Japan.     　　

Mr. Wei said the Sino-US-Japan Economic Experts Dialogue hosted by Canon Institute has great significance and recommended the Institute to invite more economic experts who have great influence on the policy-making process in their respective countries.
